A September Evening draws inspiration from the final evenings of summer, when the light begins to soften and autumn slowly approaches. Architectural forms and arched passages emerge through layers of cream, taupe and warm grey. Visible brushstrokes and softened lines bring free, instinctive movement to the composition.
